Set inside the gated Big Canoe community in the North Georgia mountains, this warm cottage-style retreat is an easy favorite for families and small groups who want a cozy mountain base with access to one of Georgia’s most well-appointed communities.

Inside, the main level’s open floor plan centers around a striking stone fireplace with a large TV above and two leather reclining sofas, all wrapped in warm knotty pine walls and hardwood floors. The kitchen is well-stocked for home cooking — granite countertops, an island with 2 bar stools, refrigerator, electric range, dishwasher, coffee maker, and a tile backsplash that ties it all together. The dining table seats 6 just steps from the screened porch and deck, keeping indoor-outdoor flow effortless.

Step outside and you’ll find two of the home’s best features: a large screened porch with a cushioned wicker sofa and swivel chairs, and an open deck with a round dining table and gas grill — both framed by open mountain views over the Big Canoe ridgelines.

Three bedrooms spread across two levels sleep 6 guests comfortably. The top-floor primary suite is a genuine retreat: a king bed under a vaulted knotty pine ceiling, a stone fireplace with flat-screen TV, a sitting area, and a spa-style en suite with double vanity, jetted soaking tub, and walk-in glass shower. A second king bedroom on the lower level includes its own private bath. The third room offers 2 twin beds with access to a full bath nearby. A bonus loft with a sleeper sofa and desk adds flexibility for extra guests or remote workers.

The driveway is flat and paved; there are approximately 4 steps to enter the home.
