Hibernation Station

Beautiful area and lovely cabin offering lots of space. Instructions were helpful and thorough.

We were in the area for a wedding. We were not able to explore the surrounding area because of the busy wedding festivities but there was obviously so much to do. We now want to go back just to do nothing but relax and enjoy the area. Beautiful mountains and lakes.

The Hibernation Station did not disappoint! The home is super affordable, spacious, clean, plenty of room upstairs and downstairs, we loved that. The open kitchen leading out to the deck was great. Plenty of room to dine and then to relax on the huge couch with the fireplace was awesome. Pet friendly yet no smells and our pup loved it! Big Canoe is fantastic! So much nature! Plenty of trails, golf, fishing, boating, wellness center, pickle ball, tennis & a FABULOUS restaurant. Truly something for everyone of all ages. You really do not have to leave Big Canoe yet if you choose to there is a quaint little village like 10 minutes away where you can buy groceries & also there are a few restaurants. Jasper is a cool little spot, plenty to do if you decide to venture out. Wish we had more time yet we will be back!

Nice place

We loved our stay. Perfect end to our Christmas break. The area was much more beautiful than I expected. Great hiking and waterfalls. Plenty of space for our family to spread out and relax. Big Canoe Resort had a lot to offer.

The place is great, peaceful , private and inside the house is very clean, compared to other dog friendly places. There are plenty of rooms and beds for families and friends getting together, including big space for living and dining room. The community is very organized and beautiful and it is close to many attractive places. Some comments that might be helpful from my experiences. I am not sure if guests arrive more than two cars, where they can find the parking spots? Also we were 7 people if you could provide extra soaps and shampoos , it would be great. Overall, I recommend this place.

We were there for my son’s wedding. This house was very convenient to the tennis facility, Chapel, marina, and big field where my son and his groomsmen played football/frisbee. Keep in mind that there are only 2 parking spots at the house, but we parked additional cars at the nearby facilities.

Family and i had the most amazing time, the place is clean and very cozzy, i would love to stay there again

Great location, very easy to get to. Lots of facilities nearby. Grocery store, resteraunts, Jasper is nice. The house/cabin has lots of room for a bunch of people. It was a really great time. Loved the huge couch. Thanks for a great time!

This home was charming. Very affordable, clean, roomy-I was surprised at the room! There was a nearby park for the kids to play, hiking trails that we all enjoyed, a creek down the hill below our rental that lured children, and wildlife galore! They were excited to see so many deer! And we found a snapping turtle!! Nature education was an ongoing process between both kids and adults! I’m thrilled to have found this home. And thanks, Bobbi, for guiding me through the process.

I loved everything about the house. Worth every penny. Didn’t care so much for the Limited parking but everything was nice, clean & comfortable.

It was a very beautiful cabin and the entire experience was very enjoyable. My friends and I had an amazing time and Bobbi was very helpful throughout the trip. Would definitely return.

Lovely location with breathtaking views! Home was spectacular with lots of room. Plenty of amenities throughout home and neighborhood. Would def stay again.

Property was ok, bunk mattress very hard, very little extras for stay. No bathroom soap and way to little toilet paper, no fire pits, some smell in lower bedrooms. Most of the beds were comfortable, but it cost to do everything in big canoe except hiking. Our group was family of twelve and it was plenty of room, but porch’s need cleaning lots cobwebs.

All was good but for a musty smell in the lower level. Thanks for all the help

The house was as described. It was clean and in a beautiful location. Some of the mattresses are beyond need for replacing. Some of our group did not sleep well at all due to the condition of the mattresses. Otherwise, the place was great! We loved the location and all of the things to do around there. We would stay again.

Very clean. Plenty of space inside for 3 couples and two bunk beds. One bed squeaked horribly at slightest move. Deep sleepers only on that one. AC good during 90 deg outside. Parking difficult. Very little pantry space is problematic when feeding 12 people every day. Good fridge. TVs good quality. Nice grill. Good deep woods feel especially at night on balcony.
