You can follow the stairs on either side of your mountain home down to Lake Disharoon, pools, and the Big Canoe Nature Valley Park – with paved trails and waterfalls.
When you want to relax after exploring the community or nearby North Georgia towns, come back to Lake’s Edge Lodge to make meals in the fully equipped kitchen, sit down for meals at the dining table, or cozy up in front of the wood-burning stone fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame great views, and you’ll have a big screen TV for entertainment. Relax on the screened-in porch, toss steaks and burgers on the gas grill, play games in the rec room, stay connected via the Wi-Fi, and enjoy entertainment including Roku TVs, and Amazon Prime Video.
Additional conveniences include a parking area for 2 vehicles, a fairly flat walk to the overflow parking area in Laurel Ridge (no street parking, please), and access to the many other amenities in the Big Canoe Community – including kayaks and paddleboards, a marina, multiple lakes, picnic areas, tennis courts, games, and more!

Great house and perfect for our yearly trip
Great house and perfect for our yearly trip to play pickleball!! All the couples loved it. Owner needs to check on ice maker, we thought it maybe leaking . Otherwise perfect house!
We would love to rent here again in the future!
My family and I had a wonderful week at this beautiful home in Big Canoe. The location can’t be beat if you want to spend a lot of time at the beach club. We were able to walk right down to the beach for a day at the lake and the pool. I was also excited to find that the house is right on some of the hiking trails so no driving necessary. My husband enjoyed a few days of golf and loved the golf course. We had a great dinner at the clubhouse with a beautiful view of the lake. The house was spacious for our family of 6 and had everything we needed. We would love to rent here again in the future!
