The families enjoyed going to the “Wildcat Recreation Area” was a hit with the kids. It’s a bit of a drive from the cabin. Get there early to get a place with an umbrella.

The place is great, the view is amazing. Would definitely return.

Jenny's place was a wonderful place for the family of the groom to rest and relax during a busy wedding weekend. Amenities were great and the spacious kitchen was wonderful for preparing meals. The home was comfortable, providing many great spaces to gather as a family or find a spot for a peaceful quiet time. The downstairs game area and theater were a hit. And the views.... amazing from the main floor. The full wall of windows provided panoramic views of the beautiful sunrises and North Georgia Mountain View's all day long. No major issues but were quick to respond to upstairs air situation. The cooler temps outside didn't require immediate fixing of air conditioner, but they immediately turned in work order. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you.

Great place to stay with a great view. We rented the cabin for our wedding. The entire bridal party stayed there and enjoyed every second of the stay. Would highly recommend.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed! The game room with a regulation-size ping pong table was a hit, and the theater room was such a fun bonus. The jacuzzi was great, but the real standout was the stunning view. Waking up and seeing the Georgia mountains from the kitchen or living room at this elevation was absolutely unforgettable.We also rented a pontoon boat and spent hours on the lake all week. Such a perfect getaway. I would 100% stay here again. Truly loved everything about it!

Great place to stay for a group of friends or family. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the game area, and the movie room. Would revisit in the future.

Great house with a superb location. The kids loved the theatre room and "commercial" popcorn maker, as well as the games such as ping pong and air hockey. Beds were comfortable. 100% "would stay at again" rating from our group of eight.

This is one of my best Airbnb’s that I have ever stayed at. I recommend it go have fun very spacious. Good customer service if you need it.

Simply perfect!

This house was great for our extended family vacation! It was clean and had so much space for all of us. Plenty of fun activities in the house as well as in the Big Canoe community as a whole. Our group had kiddos ranging from 3 years to 16 as well as 4 adult couples and everyone had a great time! Beds were reasonably comfortable and plenty of lounging and play areas. The view off the back deck is amazing! We did see the occasional spider/bug but that’s pretty unavoidable in the mountain setting and it did not detract from our fun. :)

We absolutely loved this house! My kids were obsessed with the game room and theater. The house felt very light, bright and airy! We hope to be back soon!

We had a great time, the house was perfect for our large family vacation, and with a variety of ages there was plenty for everyone to do. The community is very nice, we enjoyed pickleball, golf and the lake.

We had a great time staying at this home! Plenty of space and lots of fun games and activities downstairs to entertain the whole crowd.

This Home was spacious and had a wonderful view. The community of Big Canoe had many activities such as well marked trails, dog parks, playgrounds and pool. The home needed better supplies for the large number of guests. The kitchen supplies could be updated such as pots, casserole dishes and utensils. They only provide one set of towels per guest which they did communicate with us but it would be nice to have been given a few extra. There were no dish towels. We had to purchase. The oven door did not close properly. The hot water heater ran out of hot water quickly after just washing dishes or 1 shower. The lower level shower never really did get hot only warm. All in all the hot water heater needs to be changed to larger to accolade the large home. We did adapt after a few days by staggering shower times. The Jack/Jill pocket door did not lock. The kids playroom/game room was a bonus and enjoyed by my grandkids. The media/Movie room was a treat and easy to use. The hot tub was functional and clean! All in all, I would recommend this rental with the improvements needed to accommodate a large family group. The rental agent did come out and respond to our concerns about the hot water situation. We had a fabulous family Christmas and enjoyed hiking on Big Canoe trails, the fabulous views and visiting Dahlonega and Amicalola Falls State Park.

Loved the layout of the house. It was really comfortable for 6 adults and 5 kids. The house does need a little maintenance though. The pocket door to the bathroom doesn't move and some of the bathroom sinks don't drain properly. We notified the property manager but it wasn't remedied during our stay. Also, the mattresses in 2 of the rooms were very thin and uncomfortable.

Big Canoe is an absolutely beautiful place and the house was beautiful, excellent views, pretty drive. However, there are things that could be improved. The house is 6,900 sqft and there was a maximum number of 17 guest. The property manager did work with us which was much appreciated, but dealing with the names at the gate was tedious. Especially when peoples plans change. We got a lot of rain during our visit and the door to the deck off the kitchen was leaking pretty badly. There were very limited towels and the house was seriously lacking kitchenware (plates being a big one). The ceiling fans and lights in each room operate on the same software so it was very difficult to get your room comfortable because other remotes in the house would change your settings unexpectedly. The pocket door in the Jack and Jill bathroom was not functioning properly and needs to be addressed. One of the garage doors wasn’t working and we had to strap up a tree that was blocking the driveway to the house.As beautiful as the community was, it’s unlikely we would return.

Everything was great! The only complaint I have is that the host showed up after our arrival to supply toilet paper/paper towels/garbage bags. They also only gave us one small roll of paper towels for 13 guests for multiple days. One of the decorative blankets smelled of urine but the sheets were clean and the beds were comfortable! Overall, we had a good experience!

The home needs some attention as far as upkeep is concerned. We had trouble with the code getting into the house and not sure it was fixed because we didn’t see anyone come out nor was there any further communication. We used a different door to go in & out while we were there in fear of being locked out again. It was very spacious & the view was beautiful.
