Situated at the end of a private cul-de- sac at the top of Cox Mountain, you will experience stunning sunrises and relaxing sunset views from almost every room in this 4 bedroom 3.5 bath luxurious mountain lodge. MountainView is a 4,725 square foot luxury home that sleeps up to 12 persons. This executive home features:

Impeccably maintained, MountainView boasts 3 separate indoor living spaces that can host a large family or friends. There are 4 big flat screen TVs throughout the house, one situated in the outdoor screened porch complete with a fireplace for relaxing evenings.
The house consists of a formal living room with vaulted cathedral ceilings opening up to a large Chefs kitchen, complete with granite countertops and high-end appliances. Bar stools allow for guests to sit at the countertop and enjoy the view from the eat-in/dining area. The dining table seats 8 comfortably, and also opens up to an outdoor high-top dining table and deck, to truly take advantage of the expansive scenery that includes a distant view of the of the Atlanta skyline as well as the mountains that the area is known for. Off the main entry is a cozy tv room perfect for the kids to enjoy a game or a movie while the adults are cooking or socializing in the living room.
The large master bedroom suite is located on the top floor off the living room. A king size bed with a Temperpedic mattress the bedroom also has a brand-new Pottery Barn sofa chair that pulls out to become a twin size bed. Perfect for the couple traveling with a child. The master has an enormous closet and bathroom with a walk-in shower and two shower heads. His and her vanities allow for separate spaces to get ready and a huge whirlpool tub is a relaxing treat at the end of the day.
Downstairs is a spacious family with a sectional sofa and views of the mountains and flat screen tv. A high-end pool table and wet bar complete the room. This area opens up onto a huge wrap around porch with multiple sitting areas, and a hot tub completes the space for a nice way to unwind after a day of golfing, hiking or swimming.
On either end of the lower family room are the 3 additional bedrooms. The second master has a King size bed and en-suite bathroom. There is another guest bedroom with a connecting bathroom and 2 full beds. An additional bedroom has a full-size bunk bed with a trundle. This room sleeps up to 4 persons. With its own stunning view, the wrap around windows make this room a perfect place for the kids to play and color or read at the child size table overlooking the trees.
Mountain Vista Rentals specializes in luxury homes within Big Canoe mountain community at the base of the Appalachians. Big Canoe is a gated community with 8,000 private acres and many amenities available without having to leave its gates.

This home is absolutely beautiful! Compared to other homes we have stayed in Big Canoe, easy to find on the mountain. One suggestion, labels on light switches. We would definitely stay here again! A great time was had by all, thank you for renting this beautiful space!

The house was beautiful and as advertised. Very nicely furnished.There are several things that need attention. The pots and pans need updating, need more glasses and cups, need large bowls and mixing bowls. labels on the numerous light switches would be helpful and directions on how to work the TV's (for us older less techy folks).

Beautiful home. Would be helpful if they stocked at least four towels in each bathroom. I did see extra towels over the cabinets in the laundry room. The master toilet shoots water up and onto floor when you flush it so probably need a sign to close lid when you flush it. The stools at the kitchen bar are counter height not bar height so unable to sit and eat at the bar. We were a large group and the home had plenty of space for all of us. Other than the few things mentioned above we had a fabulous weekend at The Mountainview. It is not too far up the mountain but you have a great Mountain View. Also the home has a 2 car garage as well as wide driveway so we were able to fit all of our cars. That is a bonus and not available in many homes in Big Canoe.

Beautiful private and peaceful location in the Big Canoe. The sunrises over the mountains were stunning. The home is spacious and inviting, beautifully decorated and welcoming. Our family spent a wonderful Christmas and packed in lots of great memories.
