Serenity on the Ridge

Welcome to Serenity on the Ridge, a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom mountain home hosted by Mountain Vista Rentals. Set within the gated Big Canoe community in the North Georgia mountains, this 3-level home sleeps up to 9 guests and delivers seasonal mountain, valley, and wooded views from both the deck and screened mudroom. With multiple living areas, a dedicated rec room, and access to Big Canoe’s wide range of community amenities, it’s a home that brings groups back season after season.

The main living area is anchored by a gas fireplace and big screen TV, with an open layout connecting naturally to the kitchen and dining space. The kitchen comes stocked with full-size appliances, plenty of cookware and dishware, and ample counter space for cooking full meals. The dining table seats the whole group, and the layout makes it easy to move between the kitchen, dining area, and outdoor spaces. When the living room shifts into movie mode, the separate rec room offers a secondary TV and couch setup, plus a dartboard and board games for a livelier atmosphere.

All 4 bedrooms are spread across 3 levels, giving guests room to settle in without crowding. The primary bedroom is on the main floor with a king bed, an en suite bath with a jetted tub, and private access to the screened mudroom. A queen bedroom upstairs has its own en suite with a shower-only bath. On the lower level, 2 bedrooms share a full hall bathroom: one has a full bed and twin-over-twin bunk beds, the other a queen. A loft on the upper floor adds a desk and quiet workspace, with its own private balcony.

The outdoor spaces here are worth lingering in. The deck opens to seasonal mountain, valley, and wooded views, with rocking chairs, a porch swing, and a gas grill on hand for cookouts. The screened mudroom, complete with its own fireplace, has a way of becoming the group’s go-to gathering spot on cooler nights. Beyond the property, Big Canoe’s 8,000 acres deliver plenty more: 20-plus miles of hiking trails, a marina with pontoon boats and kayaks, a beach club with a rock slide and paddleboards, 27-hole championship golf, tennis and pickleball courts, a wellness center with spa services, and on-site dining at Duffer’s, Black Bear Pub, and the Mountains Grill.
