With more than 2,500 square feet, seasonal mountain views, wooded surroundings, and multiple spaces to spread out, this North Georgia getaway works well for families and groups planning time in the mountains.
Inside, settle into the living room with a gas fireplace and Smart TV, or head upstairs to the bonus sitting area with a couch, TV, and desk when you want a quieter place to relax or catch up on a little work. The fully equipped kitchen has what you need for meals and snacks, while the dining area and screened deck offer additional places to sit down together. Downstairs, the rec room adds more entertainment with a pool table, TV, wet bar, and mini fridge.
Step outside to enjoy the fresh mountain air across the home’s screened and open decks. Rocking chairs and outdoor dining give you space to slow down, while the covered lower deck features a hot tub, porch swing, and ping-pong table. Back inside, the primary suite includes a king-size canopy bed and private bathroom with a jetted tub, double vanity, and tiled walk-in shower. Additional bedding includes 2 queen-size beds, 1 full-size bed, 1 twin bed with a trundle, and 1 queen sleeper sofa.
When you aren’t enjoying Doctor’s Orders, take advantage of the recreation available throughout Big Canoe, including lakes, trails, golf, swimming, tennis, pickleball, and more. You can also head out to explore North Georgia, from local restaurants and shops in Jasper to wineries, farms, hiking trails, and seasonal events throughout the region.
Important Information
The driveway is flat and paved with parking for 2-3 vehicles at this semi-private Big Canoe vacation home. Roads are flat and paved, and there are only a couple of steps to enter the home.
All Big Canoe amenities are provided and managed through a third party. Mountain Vista Rentals is not liable for amenity availability, maintenance, downtime, or closures under any circumstances.
While some community amenities in Big Canoe are free, others may require an on-site fee. Please note this is not included in the rental price.
Motorcycles are not permitted inside the community.

Spring Break 2026
We enjoyed our stay for the 2nd year in a row - at Doctors Orders. Took my wonderful lady Lori - her daughters and their families for grandchildren birthdays in the Mountains. 1 day of rainy weather and the rest of warm sunshine and fun. Nice , quiet and relaxing! Comfortable beds - great food. We WILL be back!!

Excellent, well cared-for, very clean home. Would definitely rent again. Minor suggestions to reach "perfect": towel hooks, rings or bars to hold wet towels, new ping pong paddles and 5-10 inexpensive plastic clothes hangers per closet. Very enjoyable stay!
