We enjoyed our stay for the 2nd year in a row - at Doctors Orders. Took my wonderful lady Lori - her daughters and their families for grandchildren birthdays in the Mountains. 1 day of rainy weather and the rest of warm sunshine and fun. Nice , quiet and relaxing! Comfortable beds - great food. We WILL be back!!

Excellent, well cared-for, very clean home. Would definitely rent again. Minor suggestions to reach "perfect": towel hooks, rings or bars to hold wet towels, new ping pong paddles and 5-10 inexpensive plastic clothes hangers per closet. Very enjoyable stay!

We were attending a conference in Dawsonville and had a team from our church stay at Doctors Orders. Beautiful home and we had an amazing time! Loved the outdoor patio and screened in dining area! Amazing game room! Just a great place!

Had a group of colleagues in town for an event and there were plenty of places for everyone to sleep. There were also several things to do around the property! Will definitely be back in the future.

The house was great and had a fun set up in the basement for the adults to enjoy after the children were put to bed. It had a pool table, a few board games, and a nice wet bar in the basement. Everything was very comfortable and easy enough to access. The cabin does provide some coffee and you have the ability to make a pot or use a K cup. There were not enough towels, so I would make sure to double check how many are provided ahead of time. Big canoe is a gorgeous area, the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Just keep in mind that signal is weak, so your maps may panic when trying to give directions.

This was a great place to stay especially in the fall. The house had everything you could want. Only drawback was the driveway is kinda steep and a little narrow to get in and out of with 2 suv's. It is a great place to stay with large groups, had plenty to do at the house. We loved that it had toys downstairs for the little ones, the hot tub was so nice. Would liked to have had some type of fire pit. The tv/cable was hard to navigate we had to use screen mirroring on our apple phones to watch tv. Over all a great place to stay!

Met family here for a weekend reunion. The house is beautifully decorated and immaculate. The weekend was rainy, but we still enjoyed playing games and having a ping pong tournament each evening. There were deer lying in the woods by the house in the mornings. Hope that we will be able to stay here again next year.

Beaitiful.home with lots of amenities and things to do! We played billiards, ping pong, board games and grilled out. We will return! Great place for the entire family!

Location, location, location... enjoyed our stay and would return, but the house needs some love and attention. Very dated but generally in good repair. A few exceptions included cabinet door at trash nearly falling off the hinges, there's an iron but no ironing board, there was hair in the upstairs shower, appeared it wasn't cleaned from the previous guest, very low water pressure, non-functioning fireplace, and the outdoor furniture was not cleaned anytime recently, completely covered with pollen, more than what would accumulate in a day or two. Again, great location but a bit disappointing considering the location and price point.

Our family of three plus our guests of a family of three enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious . Our guests stayed on the top floor that had the two bedrooms plus the little sitting room which included a couch , TV and a desk. This area allowed them to have private time . Enjoyed all the amenities like the pool table, ping pong table and hot tub. Outside deck allowed for relaxing time. Unit is close to the Beach club area which included the pool, lake and rock water slides. One does have to drive to the beach club. The unit needs towel bars and holders in all the bathrooms. Currently pictures show them in bathrooms but unit sold in March so apparently new owners did not put back up when repainting and decorating. Love the unit though. Lovely unit. We are renting the house again next October and maybe will rent again summer 2026. Good communication with rental management before arriving, during our stay and after.
