Camp Paws

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. We like staying in the laurel ridge area for convenience to the amenities of Big Canoe. It’s a short walk to the beach. The cabin is very spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need, even spices. We enjoyed playing ping pong tournaments at night and the game room is stocked with board games as well. My only suggestion is to provide a full curtain to cover the windows. Although the windows are beautiful and normally you would not want to shut off the view, but it would have been nice to cut the light when we watched a movie or took a nap. We would definitely return to Camp Paws.

We stayed at Camp Paws to celebrate my daughter’s Sweet 16. There was 8 of us and plenty of room for all of us. The cabin is beautiful! Fully stocked with everything we needed, extra blankets, towels, pillows, etc. TVs in every room. Beautifully furnished. Every bedroom has its own connecting full bathroom. Beautiful view of the mountains. The cabin is a 1 minute drive to the Beach Club. We had an amazing time! We’ll definitely be staying at Camp Paws the next time we visit Big Canoe!

This particular home was so awesome. Slept 8 adults comfortably. We enjoyed he ping pong table. Plenty of cookware and silverware. A nice large table to seat everybody. And, an easy drive to hiking trails to the falls, plus walking distance to the swim and beach club. Overflow parking helps with extra cars.

My family of 4 and another family of 4 shared Camp Paws for about 5 days. We were in Lakepoint for a baseball 17 year olds tournament, which was about an hour away. We had a fantastic time. Although the drive to and from was an hour it was always worth it knowing we were coming home to Big Canoe and Camp Paws. The house had everything you could ask for. We ended up eating in almost everynight and just enjoying the Beach Club that was within walking distance and grilling out at the house. It couldn't have been any better. The rooms were all spacious and clean, beds were comfortable and it all exceede our expectations. The pictures don't do it justice on just how spacious and clean the house is. We would book again, no questions asked.

Camp Paws was a great place to stay for our 4th of July weekend. Very well-equipped kitchen, pictures were accurate as the listing. A very short walk down to the beach club. We loved the porch and the living room couch! Since the house accommodates up to 8 people, it would be great to have more dining-room chairs, only 4 for that big table wasn't enough Also, please install some towel racks around the bathrooms/bedrooms. Overall it was great, highly recommend it.

Gorgeous home! Our only complaint is that the parking situation should be addressed more prominently on your information. Had it been clear that we'd need to park a few cars in far away lots, we would have done a better job of car-pooling. Please make this more clear and more prominent on the information page.

The house was lovely! Everything but the jetted tub attached to the master bath worked just fine! The bedding and mattresses were SO comfortable. There is a porch with rocking chairs and a hammock that is the epitome of relaxation. We had 6 people staying in the house and it never once felt overcrowded. Plenty of towels and amenities available to us, plus quite a few board games available.

It was a great location and convenient to the main facilities. I feel a little update is needed. My kids stayed at another home and just paint and different furniture and fixture made it look new. I feel the community is an awesome vacation location for all ages. The trash disposal is not good thing, after a long vacation having to dump trash needs to be changed. Maybe a local dumpster? No one wants garbage in your car. Provide large black garbage bags not those clear ones!

Really enjoyed our time in Big Canoe. The rental was the right size for our group (6 adults, 1 young child and 2 infants). Clean. Easy check-in, great response time by guest services when we left something at the rental after leaving. We used the grill multiple times and it was great to have. Kitchen is stocked with dishes/etc. Suggestions to improve are small but would be meaningful: adding towel hooks in the bathrooms. The basement bathroom had zero. Add a few more bath towels, consider a new cover for the living room couch (it def has been used quite a bit and although there was no dog hair or smell there were stains from use. Other than that, 5 stars!

The location and house were great. We would have loved clarity on whether it was a coffee or keurig or both up front as we bought bag of coffee thinking from picture that was what it was only and would have loved to use kcups for amount we wasted. The beds and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable. There were also no tissues in any room and could use a step stool for high cabinets. For what you pay and still have to strip beds and start laundry we felt at least there could be more attention to detail. Nice to have entire house and community was friendly and beautiful. The cabin was clean and very nice. I did not like the fact that we were supposed to find the right gate to dispose of trash when we already pay a cleaning fee. Also there needs to be directions sent to get to the main gate because the GPS takes you to a different gate and its hard to turn around.

accommodations were very comfortable and luxurious. Loved that each of us had our own space. the only suggestion I have would be to provide at least 1 iron and ironing board and at minimum 1 hair dryer but better yet would be 1 per bathroom. i would highly recommend your property. thank you!
