Laurel Summit

We had a great stay! Plenty of room for everyone, awesome decks, and a fantastic entertainment room with a pool table. We would definitely stay again. Everything overall was very good.The only recommendation would be for the cleaners to take the garbage out after guests depart, as the disposal area is a good distance away and we had some difficulty finding it.

Great place for our golf weekend! Beautiful house.

House was absolutely beautiful and with 3 stories, there was plenty of room for two families! Downstairs living space with the pool table was a hit for us. That’s where we spent most of our time. The only complaint we have is the steep road down to the driveway, it was difficult to park and back out of the driveway with having 2 larger SUVs. Other than that, our stay was great!

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and the primary bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool table and hot tub!

We had such a wonderful stay! The home was spotless, welcoming, and had more than enough space for everyone to spread out comfortably. The beds were super comfy—some of the best sleep we’ve had in a long time. The view from the back porch was absolutely breathtaking and made our mornings extra peaceful. Everything was easy, relaxing, and just what we needed. We’d love to come back!

We enjoyed Big Canoe and this house.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was as advertised and met our expectations. We were 4 couples and enjoyed having plenty of space and areas where we could all sit together and socialize. The pool table, hot tib and having 4 bathrooms was a plus!! We would stay here again.

Beautiful home with plenty of space for our family! Master on main was great. There is only space for two cars at the house, but an overflow lot is a short walk away. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and big house, very comfortable for many families. This is the second year we've come to Big Canoe and we love this place and the amount of things to do. The house is comfortable, clean and has everything you need for the days you're here.

We had a lovely stay for our wedding weekend! The space was perfect for what we needed and very clean. My only slight gripe was that the notifications I received from Airbnb & from the owners were a bit inconsistent - for example, check out times and what to do with sheets / towels. When reaching out to the owners, they were very responsive and helped clear up any confusion! Very thankful to have experienced this beautiful home 🤍

The family came for a week to get together for spring break. We hiked for miles on the trails, saw water falls, cabins, wildlife, parks etc. it was such an adventure and the house was amazing! Beautiful views, the hot tub relax the muscles after days of hiking and screened in sun room was a great bonus. The house was spotless and very large and comfortable.There were 9 of us and we never felt crowded. The rock water slide opens after Memorial Day and looks like great fun! Big Canoe is quiet and everyone is so friendly. We look forward to coming back.

Great place to stay. I would definitely go back. Great quality, price and location. We are a family of five and had more room than we needed. We could have easily fit another family with us and still felt comfortable.

Really enjoyed the stay. The kids had a great time. The rooms provided privacy. Went to playground and pizza place that was nearby. The local places were super convenient. Everyone had a great time. Very peaceful location.

the airbnb was great! we had a party of 11 and the home was sectioned in 3 floors, perfect for everyone to be close but have enough space for themeselves. there are 2 stairwells which may pose a risk for toddlers but they also have the small fences that can be installed to prevent any accident. the home itself is in a beautiful closed community but the roads can be a bit too curvy for those who experience motion sickness as well as smaller children. it is a bit far from the closest store so its recommended to buy stuff before getting to the home (this is stated in the airbnb listing) otherwise its around a 15 minute drive to the closest store. overall my stay was very nice and would consider staying here again!

Great home with lots of room for our family! Beautiful community, trails and scenery. Very comfy beds but lacked in toiletries so bring some from home.

This home is perfectly located in Big Canoe, close to the tennis center, beach, and wellness center. It was so clean, and I am very picky about cleanliness. With bedrooms spread over 3 floors, if is perfect for multi generational families (like my stay) or groups of friends. There are so many outdoor decks and spots to relax and enjoy the views. We especially loved the private hot tub. The beds are really comfortable. There are so many games and the pool table kept my kids busy for hours. The kitchen was well stocked, the grill was so easy to use, and we cooked all our meals for the week here. Check in was super easy and communication with the management company was easy. I would definitely stay here again.

House was perfect! Clean , well decorated, very spacious and awesome views of mountains! Well stocked in kitchen! Will rent again!!!

Great house. Plenty of room for our group. Three bedroom have en-suite bathroom and the other large bedroom shares a bathroom with a little bedroom.

stayed for the week. beds were comfortable and the views were awesome. tvs in the rooms were a big plus. we would love to return here on our next trip. our host was the best. very responsive and helpful. will definitely return again.

My family and I absolutely love going to Big Canoe every chance we get. We have been there 4 times and plan on going again soon. The atmosphere is peaceful and beautiful and the amenities are great. I definitely recommend to friends and family every chance I get. See you soon😃

This house was perfect for our girls' tennis weekend. All the beds and linens were super comfy, the bedrooms and bathrooms were all very big and well-appointed & updated, we spent tons of time on the screened-in porch, we all spread out on the three cozy sofas in the basement and enjoyed music and the pool table - the kitchen table was plenty big for us to spread out all of our meals - really - it could not have been any better. Thanks, we will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time here, and highly recommend going this time of year. The view from the deck was picturesque, the layout of the house was perfect, and the beds… the beds were so comfortable. I’m still kicking myself for not checking the brand of the pillow topper. I will definitely be returning and checking other Georgia CYF properties in the future!!

Great house for our family to gather for our wedding weekend.

Mountain Laurel is a beautiful home in Big Canoe! The bedrooms are spacious and mattresses are very comfortable! The kitchen is well stocked with everything that you might need. We enjoyed the hot tub as well! I would highly recommend others to book Laurel Summit!

Really an amazing location

this was for my wedding weekend & the host was so responsive, it saved so much anxiety & stress. it was a seamless weekend!

place was as described but asking people to bring their own towels because only one towel would be available seems inappropriate especially since there was a hot tub. also some of the amenities were bare minimum. just two pods of soap for the dishwasher for example. no salt. minimum number of coffee filters, garbage bags, etc.

Beautiful lakeside retreat with stunning views! House exceeded expectations - spotless kitchen, great grill, and four bedrooms with private bathrooms perfect for our group of couples. Heads up: all amenities have additional fees ($8/person for pool, extra for watercraft/beach, bocce, pickleball, etc). We splurged on pontoon rental ($300 for few hours) - worth it for 8 people! Property is part of POA so amenity access requires separate fees beyond Airbnb booking.Once we understood the fee structure, we planned accordingly and had an amazing time. Highly recommend for groups wanting a gorgeous lakeside getaway - just budget for activity extras!
