Beautiful surroundings, GPS took us right to the home, which was great as it was dark outside with a lot of mountain and winding roads. Had a bit of an issue with the lock box however. The instructions didn’t really work for this particular box. I did place a call and was talked through how to open it and was able to retrieve the key to get in. The home was nice and clean with only a few minor concerns. When we loaded the dishwasher the weight of the top rack made the dishwasher fall forward and almost completed out. The downstairs TV would power on but nothing on the screen, couldn’t watch TV downstairs. We had a large group of 10 and we all fit comfortably. Theres a nice, large picnic/gravel area just a few steps away to park extra cars. The driveway has room for 2 cars only. Overall wonderful home and experience.

Had such a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was super clean and cozy, exactly as described in the listing. It really felt like a home away from home.The location was perfect for exploring the area, and we loved how easy it was to get around. Plus, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions we had, which made everything so smooth.Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. You won't be disappointed!

This place is always a great stay! We’ve stayed here several times for local paintball tournaments and they always have what we need at a great price. Cause Chaos!!!

It felt very welcoming and at home, lots of rooms and space for a big group! Beautiful surroundings and a peaceful community!

Great area and atmosphere! We were there for sports and couldn’t enjoy all the extra activities but will be back!

This is our second time staying at Tippy Canoe and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful, very spacious and can accommodate a large family. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. The place had something to do for the whole family and it’s a beautiful lake and the bottom of the mountain that’s in walking distance. Everyone we met there was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would love to return again for the summer and the holidays

This house was immaculate. Very spacious, the kids were upstairs with my mother , me and my husband had the master bedroom and Ty e bathroom was amazing , jetted tub and beautiful shower. My cousin and tSister plus my oldest son was down stairs . This home was suitable for more than 14 as said . We were comfortable and enjoyed the stay we will book again . Be mindful you are in the mountains I wouldn’t advise a big bus . And if you bring more than 2 cars you will have to park in the extra parking which is not to far from the home .

The Tippy Canoe was the perfect cabin for our group. We were there for my daughter’s wedding. It was very convenient to the venue, The Willow Farm. We had a marvelous time and a beautiful wedding.

25 minutes from Tate House wedding venue. Thoroughly pleased with this house. Exactly as depicted. Minor issues only. Sofa is completely worn out. Could not get the gas fire place to work. Outside deck furniture is pretty old... but again the weekend was great partly because we were so comfortable here at the house. Would definitely rent this property again. Staff was a perfect 10 throughout the entire experience.

The reservation process was very simple; checkin was a breeze. We had an issue with locating the key--when we arrived at the property, the lock box was open and lying on the porch. The key was not in it. I called the contact number to report this, but my niece found the key under the porch mat. After that hiccup, we couldn't have asked for a better time. The home was as advertised. I didn't know it was in a resort type setting, but that didn't change our experience. It rained the majority of our stay, but the home was spacious enough that we had enough space to be alone if desired or play games as a group. The area was beautiful. Great places to eat. Great memories were made!!

Everything was nice. We traveled for our wedding at the Tate House, which made it less than a 20 minute drive. I would stay here again!

Thai cabin was nice. It definitely needs some attention though. It’s truly just a rental. We arrived around 4pm and there always still someone cleaning the home. Tv remotes didn’t work and 1 tv in the downstairs bedroom didn’t work at all. Kitchen ware and utensils were old and worn. There was a grill shown in the pictures of the home but when I asked she said that there was not a grill. When we arrived there was a grill. It was functional but WORN out. Last thing is the lock box for the key is broken. If you accidentally put the wrong code in you will need something to poke into the reset switch since the button is missing. All in all, we had a great vacation. Nothing with what was wrong with the cabin ruined our stay. Just know that this purely a rental.

Great house great location.

Loved the location! It was perfect for the kids - ages 1 to 7, and the layout of the house worked great for our large group. We definitely plan to go back, but will look into other rentals. A few issues: 1. Jacuzzi leaks into downstairs closet 2. The Keurig leaks - we had to keep a towel under it 3. Would be helpful to have a large pot (to boil spaghetti noodles, etc.) and a baking sheet in the kitchen 4.. Kitchen towels were not provided 5. The upstairs guest bedroom beds were uncomfortable

Two complaints: they’re a roach on the pillow located down stairs. No heat down stairs called stayed on hold for 15 minutes. Lizard was located down stair. Will come back

Location of house is great- house could use some updating and repairs - several rooms have chipped paint on the wall trim, upstairs AC vent rattles when it’s on , dishwasher is falling out of mounting , missing a couple of the TV remotes , porches need to be rinsed off from what appears to be pollen

While this is a relatively nice rental, the carpeting is so filled with stains, it made me uncomfortable with how the rest of it is cleaned and maintained. The basement bedrooms had an extremely musty smell even though it seems a dehumidifier was running. Maybe some damp rid would also help. I believe someone should have been available to clean off the deck which was loaded with tree debris. I cleaned it myself with my leaf blower so it could be utilized. I felt sad for Tippy Canoe, didn’t seem to have been given much love lately.

The basement odor was so bad that my two adult nieces had to stay in another cabin.

Carpet need to be replaced. They tried to come fix it with no luck the smell was awful. Beds are super uncomfortable. We stayed in four different house and this one was the only bad one.

Very nice outdoor venues (for a fee) and beautiful environment. BUT BEWARE! This house needs major work, and we did not get what we paid for. Too many broken, non-functioning, and unclean areas to list. I was informed that the paper goods provided for us.(paper towels, toilet paper,) were only” started “ supplies, but I did not gather that from the initial information listing. The information binder in the house is seven years old so I would not depend on that information for anything. To offer remediation, I was given a gift certificate if I were to return. Not sure I would do this at this point. I I just really wish that GCFY were more transparent in their listings because it is obvious NO ONE is paying attention to this property. Even though my whole time was over 10 minutes, I do give thanks to the ladies who helped me on the phone. This is a beautiful area to visit. I only hope that my bad impression fades in time.
