Better Together is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath mountain home located in the beautiful gated community.  Better Together is the perfect getaway for couples or families.  Whether a long-awaited family vacation, reunion, wedding, anniversary celebration, golf or tennis getaway or business meeting, Better Together is the perfect year-round choice.

With vaulted ceilings and an open concept main floor, the great room features  reclining leather sofas and a wood-burning fireplace for easy entertaining.  The dining table seats six for meals (or is perfect for work-from-home tasks) and there are four bar stools for additional seating at the kitchen island.  The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals and will allow you to prepare anything from waffles for breakfast to the fish you caught in Lake Pettit the same day!

On the main floor is the master bedroom, with tiled walk-in shower, a gorgeous view of the mountains, and a king size bed. 
On the terrace level, we have a huge den with a large flat screen TV with Wii games, ping pong table, pull out sofa, two spacious bedrooms (one king bed and one twin over full bunk + queen bed) and a shared bath with soaker tub.  This level has a private screened in porch area with ample seating and beautiful tree lined views. 

Wifi is available with four smart TV’s as well as laundry, located on the terrace level.  Better Together allows for small dogs.  The home has a dog run and a fence area too.  A metal crate is provided and located on terrace level.  Are you traveling with small children?  The home has a high chair and a pack and play for your use.  

Enjoy outdoor living with indoor comforts. Nestled in the trees, you can sit back and watch the sunrise on our large wrap around deck. Our outdoor living areas include multiple spaces to soak in the great outdoors surrounded by beautiful trees, wildlife and mountain top views.  Kick up your heels on expansive decks featuring an outdoor grill and plenty of seating. Take in panoramic sunrise views with your morning cup of coffee through floor to ceiling windows or grab a book from our little library and chill out on our wraparound porch and listen to the creek close by. 

Big Canoe offers a full array of amenities, including pontoon boating, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and, of course, fishing on Lake Petit. The family-oriented swim facility on Lake Disharoon offers paddle boats and boards, canoes, a hillside rock water slide and beach with a volleyball court.  Cast a line into the picturesque 110-acre Lake Petit, stocked monthly with trout and other catchable delights. Or enjoy the ride in a party pontoon boat (rentals just across the cove) for a relaxing sunset cruise. 

Big Canoe also provides 27 holes of championship lake and mountain golf, 12 multi-surfaced tennis courts (including indoor), plus two pickleball courts.
