This is a nice home with a fantastic view. The new deck overlooks the mountains and the home’s view is unobstructed.The linens quality, furniture quality, and decor are welcomed and ensured for a true “home” feel in place of a “rental”. Zero real complaints.

Peaceful surroundings and nice outdoor space on deck.

Serenity's Edge is a beautiful property with stunning views. Comfortable and nicely equipped for a family (and pet friendly) get-together weekend. We enjoyed the brand new deck and loved the covered section as we had a bit of rain - but could still enjoy the outdoors. I wish the windows on the upper floor had screens as it was nice enough to sleep with the windows opened, but we didn't want to combat bugs. Would definitely rent again.

We had a great relaxing stay here. The view from the back deck was awesome and it was wonderful waking up to it each morning. Our host did warn us that GPS might not take us directly to the house and written directions were provided ahead of time, which made it easy enough to find. The house itself was very clean and the furnishings were nice. The only downer during our stay was a road work crew doing some roadwork outside which made it a little noisy and dusty at times. If you plan on staying at this location keep in mind that driving up some of the mountain roads can be a little unnerving if you are not used to it, but this community does have paved roads which made the drive easy enough. Overall, we highly recommend this Airbnb stay if you are looking for a private getaway!

The house is clean and recently renovated with a nice open concept. The deck is brand new and great for all day use. Big Canoe has a lot to do! You will be about 10 mins from the amenities like golf, pool, wellness center. Prior to check in get the Host a list of all possible guests that may visit you as the Big Canoe security won't let them in and it may take time to be added.

Serenity’s Edge is the perfect peaceful getaway with friends or family! The hosts have it beautifully decorated so it is nice, cozy and very welcoming as soon as you open the door. And the deck is fabulous with such a great view…I can only imagine what it is like in the fall! Loved it all!!! Will definitely go back!

Beautiful view, clean, very comfortable

This beautiful home is a great getaway and highly recommended. It is spacious and provided everything we needed. We truly enjoyed the large deck with fireplace, grill, and plenty out outdoor seating. The view is phenomenal! We saw the most beautiful sunrises we have ever seen. It's very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed hiking, going to the marina, and visiting Gibbs Gardens. This is a beautiful home and highly recommended.

If this house works for you/your group, rent it. Don't think twice. This house is immaculate. the furniture is so nice and functional and comfortable. The deck and views are spectacular long range views. The views are equally impressive from the main living areas, and the two mountain facing bedrooms. Everything about this home was well thought out and so comfortable. The kitchen is overstocked, and the utensils, plates, cooking equipment is all top notch and wonderful--as nice as any luxury home would have. We rent a lot of cabins and this is the first time we didn't want for one thing. Someone put a lot of thought and effort into provisioning this house--down to a ceramic pie baking dish and professional pizza cutter. Everything was perfectly clean. The fireplace on the deck is phenomenal. The TV's are so easy to use and have so many streaming channels. This is by far the nicest rental we've ever stayed in, and that's saying a lot because all of the rentals we've stayed in have been great. The driveway is easy--and so effective for backing up right to the front door to unload luggage and supplies. I really can't say enough positive things about Serenity's Edge. The beds are so comfortable and large--not lumpy and lopsided like so many beds we've had before, which is somewhat understandable in rentals. We had such a good time that we extended our stay twice. The amazing bonus is that GCFY decorated the house wonderfully for Christmas, which was so unexpected but appreciated. We rented late and couldn't find a cabin decorated for Christmas, so we didn't think we'd have any Christmas decor, so that was a wonderful surprise. We are already planning a summer trip back and hoping it's available. This one is a no-brainer--it's about as close to perfect as a rental can be.

The amenities were great! Especially all things provided in the kitchen. The home was beautifully decorated and in great condition. We loved the view, back deck with fireplace, and all things Serenity's Edge had to offer! We will be back.

Beautiful home in Big Canoe! Owners were very attentive and the place had everything we needed for a relaxing mountain weekend. Will definitely be booking again in the future!

It was great to have our three daughters with us on this trip with some of their family members. It was a total of eight of us. The cabin itself was spectacular with great views and wonderful amenities. Kitchen was well stocked with anything that you needed. We had two minor issues. One the outside TV on the deck went out and it never got fixed even though we did report it. It would have been nice for the one of the bedrooms on the second floor to have some sort of curtain to block the sun from coming in in the morning. Again these are minor issues. I would recommend this particular vacation rental for anybody who wants to enjoy a wonderful view and a great place to stay.
