A Fantastic Post Wedding Retreat

We chose this property for our getaway right after our wedding nearby, and it was the absolute perfect relaxing escape! The scenic views are completely stunning and provided exactly the peace and quiet we needed after all the festivities. The host was incredibly thoughtful and even left us a sweet welcome gift on our arrival. While we could not quite figure out how to operate the sauna, the jacuzzi was perfectly relaxing and exactly what we needed, and boy was the bed comfortable. One thing to note is that the property has an extremely steep driveway, and there are a lot of stairs involved in getting your bags and groceries up to the kitchen and bedrooms. We managed it with zero issues, but if mobility or carrying luggage up steps is a concern for you, you might want to consider a different property. That being said, if the stairs and driveway are not a problem for you, this place is absolutely worth it. The views and the relaxation are top notch, and we would certainly stay here again!

Resting Retreat was lovely! Very clean and everything we needed for our stay. We did not use the sauna nor hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked. Although, if the max number of people were staying there, more flatware is needed. For a longer stay, bring extra garbage bags, toilet paper and dishwasher soap. Overall, we had a nice stay. The property management company was responsive to our requests.

Wonderful stay

Once you get to the location (hopefully your car can climb hills). The experience of the cabin is amazing!!!!!!

This is a beautiful house in an incredible resort in the mountains. It does not get much better than this. I highly recommend it!

We had two families stay here for 4th of July weekend. It was an absolutely fantastic place that we’d love to return to. It had all the amenities you could ask for in a property with 6 kids 11 and under on the trip

My team and I had an amazing stay. This was the Perfect get away into a mountain escape. The place was absolutely fantastic and can easily accommodate 15 people with space for everyone to spare. The house is a 15 min uphill climb from the front gate. It is Paramount that you use the main gates to enter and exit as certain entry/exits are only for residents. There is a good pizza place and dollar general just outside the main gate. You wanna bring food into your place because it can a long drive to anything you may want. The views and property in the mountains are breathtaking. There is plenty to do right inside the resort. I would love to stay here again!

Great cabin for a large group. Plenty of activities in the cabin for kids and adults. Very comfortable beds, sauna and hot tub worked great. Stocked very well, easy check in and check out progress. Hosts were great and made everything very easy.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. Very quiet location. Large table for dining and playing games. Lots of places to sleep but privacy is limited. The master only has sheer curtains over the glass doors that open to the living room. Upstairs loft has curtains as well. Don’t plan to sleep in because the sun comes in bright from the east as sunrise. Very steep driveway with small flat portion up top. Room over the garage is not finished and a bit stuffy. Main house has one AC unit so the upstairs is much warmer than the bottom level.

The Resting Retreat was just that,, Very Restful and Relaxing. My family throughly enjoyed the Sauna, Hot Tube and The outside Fire Pit.. We also enjoyed the outside screened in porch with the heater,, our favorite place to watch the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee.. Be Ready for a 15-20 min drive from the Gate to the Cabin so if you have plans to attend an event, plan accordingly. If you are mobile impaired, be ready to climb 2 flights of stairs before getting to the main living area.. Our family would recommend Resting Retreat to other families looking for lots of room, The 4 Bedroom and the Bonus Room above the garage worked out perfectly for our large family.

We loved our stay here. Definitely enough room and there was plenty of things to do. Great for a family getaway with older kids. Loved the hiking, hot tub, and sauna for sure!!
