I recently enjoyed a much needed girls weekend away at the respite cabin in Big Canoe, which was my first visit to the area. The cabin is lovely! It has perfect screened in porch, incredible fire place and is equipped with everything you would need. You can enjoy being tucked away in the woods or go canoeing or swimming at one of the club houses that reminded me of being in Dirty dancing movie. We elected to grab an electric pontoon on the fully stocked little lake in the mountains. It was perfect. We tried the on site restaurant for dinner. Very friendly staff and amazing view as we dined alfresco. Really a magical place to relax and get away. Can’t wait to go back.
