Nice layout, beautiful views and super clean house

My family of 12 went up for nine nights over Thanksgiving week and we had a wonderful time. The house had a great set up with lots of room for all of us and beautiful views from the back porch. The driveway was spacious and much less steep than many of the other locations we have stayed at. Staying in big Canoe is wonderful because of access to different hikes. Highly recommend!

Very accomodating and close to everything.

The house was really nice with lots of room for everyone to spread out! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the views were beautiful!

Perfect setup for our multigenerational family! The house is spacious and designed to be a home away from home. There is plenty of space indoors , on the decks, and in the yard. Our grandchildren love the nearby lake, splash pad and hiking trails. We have already booked again for next year!

This property was spectacular. The layout was perfect for a family. The house was very clean, well equipped and the views were stunning. It is well located as it was the perfect distance to restaurants and wineries and the area had hiking trails that were wonderful.We look forward to coming back in the years to come.

We booked this house in Big Canoe as it was close to the venue of my daughter’s wedding. The house was great. Plenty of room for the 10 of us. The view off the deck was amazing! Kitchen was well equipped. House sat well off road for privacy. Great location close to the gate. Master bedroom was on main floor and other 4 were downstairs. The additional living room down stairs was an added benefit.

Our family really enjoyed this house. The views are terrific and the extra space for recreation in the garage worked great for our grandsons. We took advantage of the lake and pool activities and traveled to Helen and Dahlonega for mini golf, shopping and good eating. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped with all utensils and the big screen TVs were used very frequently. A fun time was enjoyed by all.

Beautiful home with lots of wildlife right outside. We encountered a family of black bear,dear,chipmunk, and lightning bugs. Very relaxing and had views of downtown Atlanta right through the mountain peaks. The driveway is a little steep which was fine for us but could be an issue for lower vehicles. Plenty of space for large families like ours.Hopefully we’ll be back sometime!

Excellent cabin and location. Such stunning views and the cabin was beautiful. Did a girl’s week with friends. The weather was rainy but we had fun playing games and eating too much good food. The cabin was very comfortable with plenty of room. The kitchen had plenty of supplies as we ate in everyday. The oven was a little challenging as we couldn’t get the temp past 375, but we made it work. I would highly recommend Vista Haven and Big Canoe. Hope to be back.

The house is a stunning property and Big Canoe is a beautiful piece of mountain real estate. The house is configured in a way to maximize bed rooms, bathrooms and shared living space. It's really a great place to host a larger group, though we were a group of 4, it meant that we each had a private bedroom/bathroom! The kitchen had everything one would need. Worth noting that the driveway is extremely steep and that anything short of an SUV or truck will need a sharp angle to avoid scraping bottom. Anything lowered or sporty need not even attempt the driveway.

Some street signs were hard to find , but over all it was a great weekend. We will come again.

I took my Dad here for a small, low-key 60th birthday celebration. Extremely spacious, clean, and incredible views. Close to anything you need but just secluded enough to feel like you’re on your own. Highly recommend.

Vista Haven was a great place for my writer friends and me. The kitchen was well-equipped, and everything worked as it should (internet, etc.) I especially liked the labels for the kitchen cabinets. We would definitely go back again!

The view is spectacular and this is a very nice house with lots of room for people to spread out. Has beautiful porch, fenced in backyard, fire pit, flat parking area, which can be rare at big Canoe, and is exactly as described. We had a wonderful time for a wedding, and would definitely stay there again.

A perfect wedding weekend for parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts of the bride. A beautiful home in the mountains!

What a beautiful place to stay. Lots of room and 3 separate places to chill, so we weren’t on top of each other. We also appreciated the 4 1/2 bathrooms. Lots of pans, bowls, plates, etc. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting! We were in town for a family wedding in Ball Ground, GA. Everyone was comfortable and there was plenty of space and privacy. We would definitely love to come back for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay. Kitchen was well stocked! Rooms fit our family perfectly! We loved the assortment of board games- perfect for a stormy day!

The home was just like it shows beautiful and spacious, however we didn't have heat on the bottom area they placed some heaters but not enough for all the rooms, also there was only 1 TV in a room but it didnt work other then that it had everything we needed.

The property was beautiful very spacious perfect for a much needed family vacation. Was a bit surprised of the many whining roads leading to the property. Enjoyed our trip immensely.

Our group of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas vacation stay at Vista Haven in Jasper, GA. Perfect location close to both Elijay and Dahlonega. The home was clean, comfortable and we never felt cramped, plenty of personal space for everyone in our group. We will definitely return!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! We were in town for a family wedding and the leaves were amazing. The house was wonderful and clean. There was plenty of room for all of us (3 families), and the kitchen was well stocked (always important for me). Things to keep in mind: You will need to provide the names of each and every person staying in the house as this is a gated community with strictly limited access. The amenities are pretty expensive for non-owners (think $20/day for a fishing permit or $40/hour for tennis court access). The driveway is pretty steep as you're turning off the road, so if there is ice or lots of leaves on it, it is difficult to access (they have a rake, so you'll be able to clear it out if needed). All in all, would recommend and stay there again! 10/10

We were there with a bunch of families and kids. We did not know what to expect especially since the photograph of the front of the property was not the best! We were extremely pleasantly surprised when we got there. The cabin was bright, airy and spacious. It was extremely clean. The kitchen was wonderfully updated. And the property is huge. There was enough space for all 12 of us, and we could have easily fit two more people as there is a nice little media room in the lower level. Overall it was extremely budget friendly, and the big canoe resort was an added plus as we got to enjoy the local Oktoberfest as well.

Very nice clean and beautiful place. Everything was so detailed in the description that we needed no help the entire time. Will be staying again in the future

Great home on a VERY private lot! Our entire group of 3 families had plenty of room and made some great memories

The house was even nicer than the pictures with wonderful views. Everybody loved the house. We cooked every meal there. The kitchen was wonderful and everything we could need. We had a great weekend there and the area is beautiful and the trails were very nice.

The home was nice with a good back porch and view!

It was a great place for our girl's trip! If we were to go again, we would consider this home.

Our cabin was beautiful with enough space for the whole family. The Big Canoe area is stunning and we loved seeing deer wandering around the majestic trees. However, given the price paid, we wish there was more than 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Also, there were some balloons leftover from the previous guests in the front yard and the garbage disposal and wine fridge were out of order.All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Great place to stay at Big Canoe. I would have given 5 stars but the heating system was terrible. Downstairs temperature never got above 66 degrees. This is cold when children are involved and it’s 36 degrees outside. Upstairs temperature did get to 68. Downstairs did have heaters in each room but when turned on they would blow a fuse. Awesome house, had everything we needed! Unfortunately, would not stay there again due to lack of heat.

Nice house few things like TV in Master wouldn’t turn no service
