Summer Entertainment at the Big Canoe Terraces Concerts

Big Canoe Blogs - Live Entertainment at Terraces Concerts - Banner

Of the many things to do in Big Canoe, Georgia, this summer — like kayaking, swimming, and splashing at the Lake Disharoon Beach Club — we’re excited for live entertainment at The Terraces! From classic country and soulful jazz to tropical reggae and Latin pop, the variety of talent is legendary at this annual summer concert series at the 1,000-seat amphitheater in Big Canoe.

Known for great tunes from the 1960s through the 1980s, sound-a-like and look-a-like tribute bands are often featured, celebrating the works of famed musicians like Jimmy Buffet, Eric Clapton, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. When you want to shake your tail feathers, head to the dance floor! On-site facilities include restrooms and picnic tables. You can bring food to enjoy or grab a bite from a food truck if available.

Plus, ticket funds support charities through the Big Canoe Chapel Benevolence Committee to benefit those in need across Pickens and Dawson counties. If you’re looking for things to do in Big Canoe this summer, check out the Big Canoe Terraces concerts!

Dance Under the Stars!

Managed by Big Canoe Chapel, the Big Canoe Terrace concerts are sure to get your toes tapping from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Carved into the hillside with towering trees all around, the Big Canoe amphitheater features a stage for performances, a beckoning dance floor, and a terraced stone seating area with stone steps right down the center for easier traffic flow. It’s the perfect place for outdoor concerts in North Georgia!

Look forward to twirling, bopping, and swaying to rock, soul, jazz, reggae, calypso, samba, pop, or country. The Terraces concert series always has a great lineup!
