About Our Happy Place

Our Happy Place

Our Happy Place – Rental Home with View of Lake Disharoon

Our Happy Place is located in Laurel Ridge Neighborhood in Big Canoe, close to all amenities. Closeby is the lakeside beach to paddle boat, canoe, play beach volleyball or enjoy the rock slide, Plus indoor pool, health club, chapel, tennis courts, racquetball courts, parks, playground. Just a short drive to the marina, golf club house, jeep trails, basketball courts and soccer field. (some amenities require separate fees which are not included in rental).

This home sleeps 12-14 Persons. The main level consists of master on the main, living room, dining, plus stone fireplace and a wall of windows overlooking Lake Disharoon. A fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances,1/2 bath. Off of the family room there is a large screen porch with ceiling fan, table and ample seating, as well as a large open deck with Grill. The master bedroom has a King bed, flat panel TV, en suite bathroom with garden tub and walk in shower.

The upstairs consists of two bedrooms joined by a jack-and-jill bathroom and an open loft area overlooking the family room. One bedroom has (2) Full Beds while the other has a queen bed. The loft has a small sitting area.
The terrace level has a large open room complete with TV, game table and chairs. There is a large wall of windows that looks out onto the meadow area below. The terrace level bedroom has a queen bed and windows, making it light and airy. There is also a full bath that can be accessed directly from the bedroom or the lower lounge room. There is an additional 5th bedroom with 1 Twin, and Trundle (2) Twin Beds that has access to the same bathroom.

While some community amenities in Big Canoe are free, others may require an on-site fee — please note this is not included in the rental price.
